How do we choose foods that fit the needs of our bodies? There are many factors that influence us in choosing food. Those factors are cultural, emotions, the environment, people around us, which food is available and our knowledge about food. Food is a source of enjoyment, so it is not surprising if people entertain and celebrate something with food.
Because of many delicious foods that make us forgot to maintain the body shape and weight, for that reason, I already give you simple eating plan and now I will give you short tips how to eat healthy and stay slim:
1. Avoid sweet food, if it is not possible change the normal sugar with natural sweeteners like raw honey, maple syrup, stevia, xylitol and occasionally raw sugar (turbinado, rapadura, sucanat) or maple sugar, also known as Indian sugar.
2. Increase food rich in fiber and cut down on red meat. Reduce not mean not eating at all, this opinion is incorrect. You should still eat meat but in smaller portions. You can eat more fruits and vegetables that contain lots of fiber and good for digestion.
3. Drink nothing but water. It is recommended to reduce the portion of drinking alcohol, cold water and energy drink which contains multivitamins. If you get enough nutrients from food, why should get more from multivitamin drink? While drinking cold water is fresh but it can make big bellies.
4. Eat of the steamed or boiled food rather than fried. Food high in oil content not only makes you put on weight, but also increase your heart attack risk.
5. Don’t buy junk food! It’s definitely not health. Try to make your own food at home. Learn more about healthy cooking. There are a lot of healthy food recipes that you can try, it’s simple learned and made less than 30 minutes.
