Many people all over the world who are trying to lose
weight are met with a lot of failures until they finally
learn the secrets of the subconscious mind. Losing weight
is just as much mental as it is physical. This is why there
are many professional hypnotists who are making a lot of
money by helping people to turn their thinking around about
losing the weight that they want to lose. However, you don’t
have to spend all that money in order to reverse the negative
habits that you may have, that is keeping you from losing
that weight.

There is a concept that is called “auto suggestion” that will
help you to reprogram your subconscious mind into gaining the
good habits that you need to lose weight automatically without
you even thinking about it. A good example would be learning to
drive a car. When you first start out to learn, your mind constantly
thinks about all the factors that are involved with driving the car
properly such as your steering, what gear to put the car in, which
controls to use, and making sure your foot hits the right pedal
at the right time.

Over a period of time, your subconscious will automatically take
over this knowledge, and you will be driving without even thinking
about it. Many people have stated that they get so lost in thought
when they are driving, they are glad the car knows its way home.
This same effect can be used when it comes a person trying to lose Weight.
It may take some time, but you can get your subconscious mind in the
habit of automatically eating right, doing that exercise everyday,
and even saying no to that extra plate of pasta.

There are steps that you need to take in order to get this process started.

The first step is to think about the reasons why you have not been able to
lose weight. Think about an image that you have of yourself that has kept
you from reaching your goal. You might have a picture of your over-weight
self that just will not go away. If you keep seeing this picture of yourself
and living by it, then that is how you will probably always be. You need to
reprogram yourself to imagine the person that you want to be after you have
lost the weight.

The second is to create that old image in your mind exactly the way
that you don’t want to be and then make it fade into the background.
Take all of the colour out of that old image and make it transparent.

The third step is to create your new image of the self that you want
to be after you lose Weight and make it come forward through that old image.
Concentrate on that new image and then go to step four.

Step four is the physical reprogramming that you need to do by taking your
thumb and middle fingers and holding them together. It is very similar to
people putting a string on a finger in order to remember something.
By doing this, you are programming your subconscious mind of getting into
the habit to recognize the excitement of the new image that you have of
yourself instead of the old one.

This four step process is based on research of the mind called Neuro
Linguistic Programming and actually has worked for many people to
become the person that they want to be.
