Why is a Personal Trainer Irreplaceable, If You Are on a Diet?
Posted by admin in Prescription Obesity Drugs, Weight Loss on May 02nd, 2009
Most people who are either considering or already on a diet do not feel that a personal trainer is necessary. They simply do exercises in whichever way they feel comfortable and at least ruin their joints, generally just give up exercising and do the diet. If the dieting individual continues to work out in a self designed exercise program, no matter if it was picked out of a book or off an internet blog.
Why is it a problem if someone picks up the training regime on his or her own?
Nothing, if he or she is a licensed trainer, or similar. The reasons are simple, even if you have a very good idea what you are doing, you cannot properly and impartially evaluate your limits. You probably have done exercising before, but you stopped, for whichever reason. You gained weight, it does not matter how much, but you are dieting and trying to get rid of the excess pounds. Your body is weakened by the diet, no matter how good the dietitian or nutritionist is, you are trying to extract the excess fat out of your body and that does not run easy. In addition to that, you are contemplating to work out.
The workout you picked may range from fast walking to power weightlifting; you may even have a nice history of any sport, but you have no way of knowing just how far your constitution has deteriorated. It is a matter of staying healthy and it is much better to pay a professional to assist you with that, instead of paying the doctor to fix your mistakes, leaving the pain out of the equation.
Did you know that your diet needs to be amended, if you are exercising?
You cannot continue with the same calorie intake as before, you are burning more calories than when you are not exercising.
How are you going to find out just how much calories you are burning?
People differ, constitutions differ, workout history is different, weight is different, it all must be calculated, together with the performed work. Besides that, you would like to lose weight where it hurts your looks the most, if you are female, the last thing you want is to lose weight in your chest area, but keep the thighs. If you are male, you want to get in shape and sculpt your body, not have powerful arms but weak legs, or vice versa.
