6 Tips For Rapid Weight Loss
Posted by admin in Prescription Obesity Drugs on June 07th, 2009
Other than physical appearance weight affects a person in many ways which include quality of life, self-esteem, depression, health risks, and physical incapabilities. There are many positive changes once a person experience weight loss. For this reason, many people are in searching for a method of weight loss that will help them get back to that trim and svelt knock out body.
The first thing is to ask your doctor to recommend a weight loss plan that would be best for you and your lifestyle. This will be done after a complete physical examination and assessment of your home life activities, which leads to the determination of the proper technique of weight loss. In order to lose weight fast and effectively, four aspects of life must be changed: what to eat, how to eat, behavior, and activity level.
Here are some tips that can increase your success rate:
Firstly, the rapid weight loss consists of a multi-faceted regimen that consists of an adjustment in thinking, exercise, and in other cases an oral weight loss supplement. Start with a plan that can be stuck with and can easily be accustomed to. If you normally hate brussell sprouts, don’t go on a diet chuck full of brussell sprouts as this would increase your failure rate with a diet that is less than palatable. Incorporate a exercise plan that allows even at least fifteen minutes a day walking at a fast pace, running, swimming and dance. Starting off with smaller goals sets you up for success. After you meet the goal of 15 minutes, add onto your plan by 5 minutes every couple of weeks, this way you can work your way up to a whole hour of exercise without killing yourself.
Second: Set realistic approaches. It is said so a man thinketh, so is he. See yourself as a healthy individual with the ability to reach the goal set before you even begin. Visualize yourself attaining the goal and plan for success. Bannish all thoughts of negativity and remain focused on the task at hand.
Third: Listen to your body talk. Each body metabolism reacts differently to different programs of rapid weight loss and plans. Try switching up your exercise regimens so your body does not have a chance to come to a plateau and remain in a weight stalemate. Some regimens call it muscle confusion when you constantly switch up exercises like running one day, bicycling the next, and then lifting weights the next day. Mixing up your regimen keeps your body burning up fat. Just remember as with any exercise regimen, know when your body has hit its limits time wise and never overtax yourself so that you can remain consistent with your exercise plan. Being overly sore after a workout sometimes can be a discouragement to being faithful with the exercise plan. The key with all exercise is consistency.
Fourth: Eat more fiber to give the perception of fullness. This can take you a long way with cravings and impulsive eating. The more fiber that is consumed, the longer the food transit time in the stomach which slows down the rate of digestion. A single serving of whole grain bread moves fat through the digestive system faster. The fiber and the grain convert into sugar which is more consistently released in blood sugar giving more even insulin levels and energy levels. This will also help the body to know when to start burning fat as opposed to storing fat with more even energy and insulin levels.
Fifth: Keep away from fried foods especially deep-fried, because it contains a large amount of fat. Eating less fried foods also increases your longterm health by lowering chances of developing heart disease and clogged arteries. It is recommended for those on a strict regime to opt for grilled food as it infuses the food with more flavor and decreases the amount of added fat and caloric intake.
Sixth: Takes lots of fluids. Drink at least six to eight glasses of water a day to keeps the body hydrated and working well. Since weight loss depends on how the body eliminates body wastes, the body must stay hydrated.
Overall, discipline and consistency is always the best practice and the key to rapid weight loss success. Light diet, exercise, and applying the right amount of supplements on a regular basis every day will result in weight loss faster than proven ineffective former methods have never and will never work.
