Posted by admin in Prescription Obesity Drugs on June 18th, 2009
Sugar and obesity seem to go hand and hand. Every time you watch the news or read an article about weight loss and obesity you keep seeing sugar as a leading cause of most weight problems. Taxes on sugar must be a good idea if everyone keeps talking about it so negatively. What do you think
Which products should be taxed and which ones should not Should we tax products that produce sugar naturally or only the ones that are processed Oranges have sugar in them, should oranges be taxed Is their sugar in bananas I wonder and therefore should they be taxed also Where do we draw the line

- weight gain, loss of appetite control, confusion, forgetfulness, attention deficit disorder and hyperactivity
- depression, muscle cramps, pre-menstrual syndrome, joint pain, insulin resistance, fatigue

Every time someone mentions taxes I feel that Big Brother is right behind me looking at my every move. Are you comfortable with all this control and where do you think we should draw the line
Every food product can have positive and negative effects on certain people. Education or the lack of seems to be put on trial and I wonder if we should not look at how we teach our children about the benefits and pitfalls about any product. How much do we invest on teaching more than just the three R’s Food for thought.
