How to Get the Body of Your Dreams

It is estimated that 61% of Americans are obese. No problem obstructs confidence in one’s own physical appearance more than being “fat”. I know this, because I was once there. But, I’d rather not conjure old feelings by talking about what I was. I have conquered the “fat” demon long ago, and I have something to offer every single person out there today who is obese or otherwise unhappy with their appearance. Please trust me. I am no expert, but I have researched this a lot and have seen the affects of my thoughts and actions in my life as well as the affect of other’s actions in their life.
Simply put, I will give you a list of steps to follow. If you follow them, then you can have every confidence you will lose the weight you want to. And do not be surprised at the simplicity of these steps. You might consider your weight to be a complex issue, but on an objective level, weight loss is extraordinarily simple. All you have to do is burn more calories than your taking in. I will tell you how to do this later on in the article, but for now, lets EXAMINE YOUR THINKING.
The mind is the builder of all things. What I’m addressing is your attitude on life, your outlook. If your already turned off to examining the way you think about life and yourself, then you know what to change, right off the bat. You need to learn your potential, and know that YOU ARE WORTH MORE THAN YOU THINK. You are worth a body of your dreams. You are worth that look from a guy or a girl, that drawn stare that tells you your looking good. You are worth guys or girls wanting to know you- it is a great facet of life, once had. And I speak from experience on this as well, thanks to my steps. The first of these steps is realizing that you are worth it all.
The second step, is creating a BALANCED DIET PLAN. It is unhealthy to starve yourself, simply put. Your body needs nutrients, and a sufficient amount of calories for survival. If it does not have these things, your making matters worse for yourself. It is not a rare thing to see a strong-looking, but obviously over-weight, guy try to lose weight and lose mostly muscle. When in starvation, your body takes the calories from your muscle first, then fat. Starvation then can be effectively routed as an option for fat-loss.
A balanced diet plan includes a lot of fruits and vegetables (9 servings a day), a lot of water (simply as much as you can). I used to keep a bottle of water with me wherever I went. And when it was empty, I’d refill it. There really isn’t a limit to how much you should drink. In this case, the more the better. The ways water helps the body is astounding. This is not a counter-intuitive thing either, considering the body is 55 to 65% water. As far as your protein, carbohydrate, and fat intake goes, there is multiple paths you can take. Though there is one consistency in every path. You MUST eat less calories than you burn. Whether it’s low carbs, high fat and high protein, high protein, high carbs, low fat, or high carbs, low fat and low protein (not a good diet ratio, by the way), it does not matter. The main thing is eating less calories than your taking in. There are plenty of calorie calculators online that you can use to see what your daily caloric needs are.
The next step is exercise. This is common sense. Whether it’s free weight-training, machines, jogging, sprinting, bear-crawling, skipping, or tap-dancing, exercise raises your metabolism, and helps you burn off the fat. It is important to know that it takes twenty minutes of exercise before your body starts burning calories directly from fat, and not from the glycogen (energy from food) in your muscles.
I have every confidence that if you follow these steps, you will lose the weight you want to. I followed these basic guidelines once, in my darkest of days, when a good body was something i only dreamed about. Well, my steps made my dreams come true, and I’m sure it will work for you as well.
