Yes, you are reading this statement correctly. Junk food can actually help you to lose weight. Many people make the statement that all junk foods are bad and you can’t eat them at all, and this statement is simply untrue.

You see it is actually the frequency of eating junk food that is causing you to gain weight. All foods eaten in moderation are completely ok, and if you do crave a double whopper with cheese or Big Mac, I say, if you have been good all week definitely let your self go.

Think of your body like a machine, that can learn and adapt rapidly. Your body if it gets used to something, will think of ways to slow down and make it’s life easier by burning less calories at the same job.

I am sure you have heard of changing up your exercise routine, so your muscles do not get USED to the same exercise.

For example if you do squats every day for a year, your body will actually adapt to that exercise, and will burn far fewer calories.

To stop this from happening you should incorporate a new exercise or more repetitions every 2 months, so your body is always in a state of shock.

This is exactly the same for your calorie intake! You see, if you are taking a small amount of calories in every day, day in and day out, your body will actually get used to the small amount of calories it is taking in, and try to maintain your weight with fewer amount of calories, slowing down your metabolism.

However if ONCE a week, you spike up your calorie intake with a nice double whopper, your body will remember what it is like to have more calories, boosting up your metabolism, and will burn more calories continuously.

However after reading this I must stress that moderation is the key to a healthier life style. Also remember to incorporate this tip with a great exercise routine for maximum results.

Depriving your self of so many things will only cause you to binge, and put on even more weight.

So the next time you think you need to deny your self of that burger you love, go a head and treat yourself, if you have been good all week.
